Programs

kids-bayfair-daycare-pickering-day-careWe offer full time programs for Infants up to 12 years of age. We also offer a before and after school program, with full day programs on Professional Activity Days and School holidays. Bussing arrangements are made by the parents for children who qualify through their schools. We offer a Summer Vacation Bible School Program which features an exciting theme with field trips, water fun activities, children’s entertainers, and play-based activities throughout the day. We have an end-of-summer Vacation Bible School concert as well as a Christmas concert.

OUR DAYS AND HOURS OF OPERATION:

We open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 6.00 p.m. Full and part-time care is provided 52 weeks of the year with the exception of the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

OUR CURRICULUM

Program Plans are also designed based on the interests of the children through observation and documentation. Your child’s day will consist of a variety of experiences such as Arts and Crafts, Cognitive activities, Science and Nature, Language and Reading, Math Related Concepts, Multicultural Experiences, Dramatic Play, Sensory, and Christian learning.

Our goals as educators are to help children reach their fullest potential in all areas of their development, to collaborate with children, families, and colleagues to create a high quality, responsive learning and care environment. Our learning environments view children, families, and educators as co-learners.  Our centre has embedded the Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT) principles, along with the provincial pedagogy for early learning, to strengthen the quality of our programs and ensure high-quality experiences.
